The Postgraduate Induction module helps new students get started with their studies. It’s split into two units over 14 days. In Unit 1, students watch a welcome video, update their profiles, and join online discussions (which aren’t required but are helpful). There’s also reading material to introduce the subject, and students can chat with others in the Student Lounge.

Unit 2 focuses on academic skills like writing and research. The big task is to finish and submit the Induction Assignment by Day 10, and students can check their work for originality using Turnitin. Feedback and grades come on Day 14, and passing is needed to move forward.

Throughout the module, the Student Support Team is available to answer any questions. The goal is to help students feel confident using the platform and to get ready for their full course.
