Assignment
Your tutor will split you into four teams and you will debate the following:
- Team 1: It is our belief that generative AI can revolutionise network security by rapidly identifying and patching vulnerabilities, thereby reducing the likelihood of successful cyber-attacks and enhancing overall resilience.
- Team 2: It is our belief that there's a risk of overreliance on generative AI in network security, potentially leading to complacency among human operators and overlooking subtle threats that require human intuition and expertise to detect.
- Team 3: It is our belief that generative AI has the potential to streamline network security operations by automating routine tasks such as threat detection and response, freeing up human resources to focus on more complex security challenges and strategic planning.
- Team 4: It is our belief that generative AI in network security could be susceptible to adversarial attacks or manipulation, leading to unforeseen vulnerabilities and exploitation by malicious actors.
Each team must make a PowerPoint presentation (each member should provide at least one slide) based on the statement.
Each team should consider relevant technologies in support of their presentation.
